Role Overview
- Execute advanced and parametric energy simulations across multiple software platforms (e.g., eQuest, IESVE)
- Perform QA/QC reviews and maintain high-quality standards in deliverables
- Lead in developing custom tools and workflows for improved modeling efficiency
- Prepare clear, high-quality technical reports and presentations
- Interact professionally with clients and maintain long-term relationships
- Support in workload planning
- Supervise and coach junior and intermediate staff, ensuring quality delivery and professional growth
- Provide technical guidance and delegate tasks efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years in energy modeling or design analytics
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng) required
- Deep familiarity with building energy codes and green building standards such as ASHRAE, NECB, LEED, CaGBC Zero Carbon, Passive House, etc.
- Proficient understanding of MEP systems, architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings
- Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modeling software
- Experience in energy audits and programming tools is a plus
- Demonstrated project management and leadership experience.
