About this role
Role Overview
Financial strategy and planning.
Defining A&O IT Group business model to ensure it supports international revenue growth with minimal overhead requirements.
Contribute to the strategic management of A&O IT Group by implementing strategies that ensure compliance with individual tax jurisdictions and maximise on cost synergies.
Lead on the financial aspects of any strategic projects aimed at achieving company growth.
Work together with the Senior Leadership Team on forward planning and the effective organisation of A&O IT Group activities, including business planning, policy setting, financial forecasting and strategic decision-making.
Proactively apply financial analysis to define business strategies for the Group.
Deliver active engagement with business on potential new contracts, business plans and/or cases.
Analyse the financial climate and market trends to assist senior executives in creating strategic plans for the future.
Manage all investments to their best advantage.
Be responsible for financial and commercial aspects of contracts to include review and approval of all relevant contractual terms.
Drive strategic and operational development of in-house software to support operational efficiencies and business requirements.
Manage continual improvement and successful accreditation in quality standards that are crucial for business operations.
Requirements
Suitable Financial Accounting qualification including ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified.
Exceptional financial management skills, able to identify cost control opportunities, implement cost management programmes and deliver with tangible results
Advanced software knowledge of financial systems, PowerBI and Microsoft Suite products
Experience working in complex, multinational, matrix-managed organisations
Proven ability to provide clear direction and leadership
Diplomatic and highly influential
Strong negotiation and presentational skills
Ability to identify and resolve problems, to multitask and work simultaneously on concurrent projects to meet stretching timescales
Innovative, and capable of challenging the status quo with the ability to generate new ideas on how to achieve objectives for minimising costs whilst maximising service
Ability to design and implement major change programmes to drive improved business performance
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn metric data into clear action plans
Prepared to work extended hours to business and service commitments when the demand arises
High level of cultural awareness and the ability to adapt accordingly to foster positive relationships
Highly effective written and oral communicator at all levels of the organisation
Knowledge of international operations, specifically in France, Germany, UAE and/or India a distinct advantage.
