You ensure the reliability of financial information and related analyses for the technical management of CMA CGM’s fleet vessels.
You play an important role in supporting the activity in areas such as actual cost assessment and budgeting, assisting the fleet team in cost monitoring.
Reporting directly to the Business Control Manager in France, you are responsible for monitoring the costs within your scope, which includes but is not limited to:
Taking part in the monthly closing process
Ensuring the accuracy of cost accounting
Analyzing monthly variances between actuals and budget/forecast
Analyzing the annual forecast
Conducting a monthly financial review with the fleet team
Preparing the monthly review summary for the Business Control Manager
Providing support in the preparation of the budget and forecasts
Participating in process and tool improvements
Requirements
Degree in management control and/or finance
At least 5 years of experience in management control
Strong knowledge of accounting, particularly in transaction closing
Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
