Role Overview
- Full lifecycle management of network infrastructure, including design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Scale and implement internally developed solutions, with a focus on performance monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure network reliability and efficiency.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (preferably from this client).
- Minimum of sixteen (16) years of experience specific to developing Datacenter, LAN, WAN, and Client Access network architectures and networks/systems.
- Bachelor's Degree related to specific skill from an accredited college or university OR: Associates and eighteen (18) years of related work experience.
- No degree and twenty (20) years related work experience.
- Experience with testing, integrating and deploying systems and ability to perform full lifecycle system management.
- Experience with developing Datacenter, LAN/WAN, and customer network architecture and networks or systems.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Cisco Firepower Management, Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) networks, Firewalls and VPN Concentrators (FTD and ASA), Cisco Datacenter, LAN/WAN, Client Access technologies, i.e. MACsec, HSRP, VRF, VPC, ACLs, BGP, EIGRP.
- Understanding of high availability technologies and implementation and development concepts.
- Experience with technical validation of network designs, network monitoring, and incorporate best practices.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with complex situations.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, as well as working autonomously and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain relevant technical training to remain current with evolving technology landscape.
- Experience with building, deploying and maintaining the Nutanix hypervisor platform, Palo Alto Firewalls via Panorama, and Citrix Application Delivery Controllers.
- Experience with SIEM and security analytical technologies (e.g.: Splunk, pcap, Netflow, Solarwinds, etc.)
