Support the development of a national Maritime Security Strategy that enables partner nation stakeholders to effectively organize, manage, and execute maritime operations.
Focus on maritime threat and gap analysis, stakeholder mapping, and development of a comprehensive strategy that addresses interagency coordination, maritime domain awareness, and maritime security requirements.
Requirements
Retired O-5 / O-6 level officer with experience developing maritime security strategies, particularly within small or developing maritime nations in the INDOPACOM AOR.
Experience with US security cooperation with foreign partners supporting maritime domain awareness (MDA) and maritime security (MARSEC) initiatives at the strategic and operational levels.
Experience in assessment and drafting of strategy documents, frameworks, and implementation plans aligned with partner nation requirements and timelines.
Experience in designing and developing presentations, workshop materials, and facilitation activities in both in-person and virtual environments.
Interpersonal, briefing, and writing skills, with ability to communicate complex concepts and policies to diverse audiences and to facilitate workshops, simulations, and stakeholder coordination sessions.
US Secret Security Clearance required.
