Act in accordance with the Operational Security Policy, SGSO and applicable AVSEC regulations;
Ensure that all Security procedures are being followed to standard and at the highest levels of security;
Identify and manage risks associated with the company’s operations;
Engage with all operational areas of the company when a risk impacting Operational Security is detected, or when procedures/actions are identified that are not in compliance with authority requirements or company standards;
Promote understanding, implementation and maintenance of the operational security policy at all levels of the organization in compliance with regulations;
Conduct risk analyses following the steps defined in procedures and propose mitigating measures;
Visit bases where a new operation is to be initiated to assess existing security barriers, produce reports and provide recommendations;
Develop and establish the AVSEC risk index for aerodromes where operations take place through scheduled risk assessments, identification of vulnerabilities, report preparation and recommendations, and monitor and follow up on implementation;
Identify vulnerabilities, assess risks and evaluate the effectiveness of security barriers implemented at bases;
Coordinate with other members of the Security Coordination team to align procedures and ensure implementation of proposed recommendations;
Identify and report hazards in operations to the Directorate of Operational Security through the AQD;
Contribute to achieving Security Objectives and performance indicators (SPIs/SPTs) assigned to the area;
Conduct internal investigations in cases of attempted or actual acts of unlawful interference, identifying contributing factors and proposing security recommendations;
Assist in the conduct of investigations of acts of unlawful interference;
Propose and implement process improvements;
When designated, act as forum leader, promoting Operational Security topics and being responsible for conducting, monitoring and advancing workstreams with the areas involved.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Security, Management, Finance, Business, Civil Aviation, Technology, Engineering, Administration, Tourism or other related fields;
Required knowledge of Quality Management Systems and AVSEC laws and regulations;
Advanced English and Spanish;
Proficiency in MS Office;
