As Marketing Manager Paid & Performance (m/f/d) you will play a central role in our growth journey.
You will be our architect and strategic driver for predictable, scalable new-customer acquisition.
Your focus is on turning marketing budget into a measurable pipeline—data-driven, efficient, and continuously optimized.
You analyze target audiences, markets, and competitors and, based on these insights, develop a holistic paid strategy across the entire funnel—from awareness and consideration to conversion.
You understand performance marketing not as an isolated function but as an integral part of our revenue strategy, working closely with Sales and Customer Success.
You identify growth opportunities, test new channels and creatives, build scalable campaign structures, and continuously improve existing setups.
KPIs such as CPL, CAC, conversion rate, and pipeline impact are for you not just reporting figures but control levers.
At the same time you bring strategic foresight: you challenge existing processes, optimize tracking and attribution models, and leverage modern AI tools and automations to continuously increase efficiency and performance.
The focus is on high-quality leads, transparent performance structures, and sustainable growth for an ambitious AI startup. You will report directly to the Head of Marketing & Sales.
Requirements
You have already owned and scaled performance marketing—ideally in a B2B, SaaS, or tech environment—and can demonstrate measurable results (e.g., significant CAC reduction, budget scaling with stable ROAS, building a predictable pipeline).
You think in terms of revenue, not just reach. Pipeline impact, SQL quality and customer lifetime value are the management metrics you prioritize.
You have had real budget responsibility and have scaled campaigns from validated tests to six-figure annual budgets.
You build scalable performance structures, not just individual campaigns—clean setups, clear KPI logic, and sustainable scaling mechanisms.
Tracking is not a nice-to-have for you, but the foundation. You understand attribution, CRM integration, and data-driven decision models.
You make decisions based on data—quickly and pragmatically. The 80/20 principle is a tool for you, not a risk.
Testing is part of your DNA. You structure hypothesis validation, test aggressively, and optimize continuously.
You combine creativity with performance thinking. Strong creatives and clear messaging logic go hand in hand for you.
