Senior Product Owner

Role Overview

• Works closely with business analysts, developers, product managers, optimization engineers, laboratory chemists, third-party integrators
• Manages lifecycle of software and tools
• Acts as liaison between IT and business leaders to develop a product roadmap
• Applies design thinking techniques to define product features
• Maintains team's backlog and directs work
• Builds products with superior user experience across multiple verticals
• Ensures alignment between teams to prioritize product roadmaps
• Collaborates with Agile teams and stakeholders
• Conducts customer research and product discovery
• Writes epics and stories to support initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, related field or equivalent work experience
• Product Owner certification preferred
• Previous experience supporting Thermo Fisher Sample Manager preferred
• 5+ years of relevant product owner experience required
