Role Overview
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos
- Gather and analyze requirements with business areas/stakeholders
- Create and maintain data models (Framework Manager)
- Develop complex queries and optimize performance
- Integrate data from different sources (data warehouse, relational databases, APIs)
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance
- Provide support and troubleshooting for reports in production
- Document technical and functional solutions
Requirements
- Experience with IBM Cognos Analytics
- Knowledge of data modeling (Framework Manager)
- Advanced SQL
- Experience with Data Warehouse / BI
- Experience with data integration
- Nice-to-haves: ETL knowledge (DataStage or similar)
- Experience with complementary BI tools
- Technical and functional documentation of developed solutions (Senior)
- Strategic engagement with stakeholders, BI governance, and mentoring of more junior professionals
