Prepare and record fee income journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS
Analyze financial data to identify anomalies, variances, and potential errors; proactively resolve issues
Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations
Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are consistently met
Assist with regulatory reporting filings for subsidiary entities
Perform analytical reviews of non-life subsidiaries’ income statements to ensure completeness and accuracy of quarterly financial results
Partner with line-of-business leaders to ensure operational changes are appropriately reflected in financial reporting
Support implementation and operationalization of technical accounting policies and procedures
Collaborate effectively with U.S.-based stakeholders across time zones, participating in meetings during overlapping business hours as needed
Contribute to documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives as part of the growing India accounting team
May mentor or support the development of junior team members
Perform other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
4 years of relevant accounting or business analysis experience
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP; exposure to IFRS preferred
Experience in public accounting preferred
Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or progress toward CA preferred
CPA (U.S.) license or progress toward CPA is a plus
Experience supporting U.S.-based stakeholders or working in a multinational organization preferred
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to operate effectively in a deadline-driven, structured environment
