About this role
Role Overview
- Processing purchase invoices and expense documents (incl. receipts)
- Ensuring accurate and timely data entry in the accounting system
- Maintaining proper documentation and supporting files
- Supporting VAT (KMD) preparation and reconciliations
- Assisting with monthly closings
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Matching transactions across different systems
- Identifying inconsistencies and raising issues proactively
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Supporting payroll postings in the accounting system
- Assisting with employee-related entries and reconciliations
- Preparing data for TSD reporting
- Preparing internal reports using Excel
- Working with large datasets (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
- Supporting and assisting in monthly and quarterly reporting processes
- Working with internal tools (Jira, accounting systems, etc.)
Requirements
- Experience in accounting (Estonia)
- Good understanding of VAT (KMD)
- Basic knowledge of TSD and payroll processes
- Languages: English (working proficiency), Estonian (for communication with government institutions), Russian
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- Ability to work with large volumes of data
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with Merit Aktiva or 1C (nice-to-have)
- Experience in fintech / crypto (nice-to-have)
