About this role
Role Overview
- Oversee the complete production of payslips (approximately 400 per month)
- Manage employee hires and terminations (onboarding and offboarding)
- Ensure payroll compliance with legislation and the Syntec collective agreement
- Perform monthly payroll checks and analyze variances
- Prepare social declarations (monthly and event-driven DSNs)
- Monitor sick leave and manage provident insurance files
- Serve as the primary contact for partners regarding tool and system updates
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bac+2 (two-year post-secondary) qualification in Payroll, HR, or Accounting
- Significant experience (minimum 5 years) managing payroll independently
- Proficient with payroll software (Sage preferred; Silae is a plus)
- Strong Excel skills and comfort with HRIS tools
- Knowledge of labor and social legislation, ideally with familiarity with the Syntec collective agreement
- Rigour, reliability and a service-oriented mindset
- Autonomous and able to work closely with Finance and HR teams
