Collect, capture, proof all of the necessary event content for assigned events; this includes but is not limited to: presentations, speaker biographies, speaker photos, manuscripts, presentation descriptions, etc. for inclusion the event guide, marketing materials, website, etc.
Facilitate the paper development process for assigned events to ensure all authors, presenters, organizers, and reviewers meet all SAE requirements to be published and present at event. This includes ensuring adherence to all event and publishing deadlines.
Serve as the administrative contact for publishing content within SAE's designated content management system.
Manage and track progress of project work plan deadlines and ensure all deadlines are distributed and met.
Prioritize deadlines and work independently.
Schedule, arrange, lead and record all committee/technical meetings as it pertains to Event content.
Copy, edit, proofread and update all web content as it relates to the Engineering Events websites.
Actively participate on internal project team meetings and provide written updates of progress as it relates to project work plans.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communication, event management or a related field that emphasizes organizational processes, content coordination, or project administration.
Minimum two (2) Years of professional experience in event coordination, content management, publishing support, or administrative project assistance, ideally within a technical, engineering, or professional association environment.
Working knowledge of MS Office products, CRM database systems, Webex/conference call systems.
Excellent telephone, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent written, verbal and collaboration skills.
Flexibility in working non-traditional hours as needed (some nights and weekends) when traveling/onsite for events.
Excellent planning, organizational and time-management skills.

Overtime will be compensated in accordance with applicable laws and must be pre-approved by the supervisor.
Schedule: Standard business hours with occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends during peak event periods.
