About this role
Role Overview
Participate in the annual comprehensive evaluation and selection process for both first-year and transfer students.
Support office-wide programs and projects, as assigned, to support the work of Penn Admissions.
Frequently support the Admissions Visit Center and Client Care in daily staffing, welcoming visitors, supporting daily virtual or in-person programming, and handling inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
Manage a geographic territory to identify, recruit, and yield candidates.
Lead a variety of virtual and in-person recruitment activities, including evening and/or weekend programs, school visits, college fairs, and regional alumni programs.
Engage in 1-3 weeks of recruitment travel.
Requirements
Bachelor of Arts and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Demonstrated project management skills plus the ability to balance an individual schedule with multiple organizational calendars/schedules within a high-volume and timeline driven process.
Dynamic written communication, customer service, public speaking, teamwork, and collaboration skills are required.
Experience working with populations that are underrepresented in higher education is appreciated.
The job requires a valid driver's license and the ability to work nights and weekends.
