Monitor and analyse market trends, competition and customer needs, to guide and develop local strategy.
Investigate and benchmark insurance market within the region through surveys including customer certificates, vendors quotations and GBUs members.
Advise local business members, MT and other DLL departments on best practices for insurance activities and act as a SME concerning insurance matters.
Advise on any insurance related matters including Risk Protection Insurances.
Advise management and promote the Global DLL Insurance vision and strategy.
Support countries and global risk/legal function in monitoring existing insurance programs to ensure that they remain within guidelines and applicable regulations.
Ongoing monitoring of any regulatory change that may impact DLL products and prepare plan to adapt.
Build and maintain key commercial relationships across the region.
Ensure and coordinate excellent customer service by interacting with local internal Operational, Commercial, Legal, Risk, Compliance and Finance insurance owners, brokers and insurance companies.
Functions as relationship manager for third-party insurance intermediaries / providers.
Review, control and enhance Insurance programs and identify income and cost improvement opportunities.
Requirements
Educational Background: Degree in Business Administration/Economics or other related qualification.
Insurance Producer License (may be possible to obtain post-hire for right candidate)
Ideally also holding recognized Professional Insurance Qualification(s) (may be possible to obtain post-hire for right candidate)
