About this role
Role Overview
- Handle daily tasks in sustaining engineering and address quality issues
- Manage small projects to adapt and improve existing products
- Support new product development:
- Develop and design new and innovative products using internal tools (CAD, FEM, CFD) and external experts
- Create innovative product and design concepts
- Evaluate product performance against specifications in collaboration with our test laboratory
- Ensure correct application of internal rules and processes
- Produce technically correct drawings in accordance with internal and official standards
- Contribute to cost and quality optimization
Requirements
- Higher Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- More than 3 years' experience as a mechanical designer
- Deep knowledge of production processes for metal and plastic parts
- Good experience with 3D CAD systems (preferably SolidWorks)
- Experience with tools such as FMEA (risk analysis), specification sheets, and Microsoft Office
- Fluent in German and English
- Strong team collaboration skills
