Conduct scheduled and unannounced physical inspections of dealer lots to verify the presence, condition, and status of financed vehicle inventory
Perform VIN-level verification against INFINIT’s loan book and collateral register, flagging discrepancies immediately
Identify and document ‘sold out of trust’ situations (vehicle sold but stocking loan not repaid) and escalate per protocol
Assess vehicle condition, registration documents, and insurance validity at each visit
Complete standardised audit reports within 24 hours of each visit via INFINIT’s operations console
Conduct risk-triggered spot audits for dealers approaching credit line limits, with overdue repayments, or under credit review
Maintain a regular on-site presence at INFINIT’s French dealer partners, building trusted relationships with dealer principals and inventory managers
Communicate INFINIT’s audit requirements, facility terms, and inventory best practices clearly and constructively
Capture qualitative intelligence on dealer financial health, stock turn, local market trends, and competitive landscape and relay to the Credit Risk team
Act as a first point of contact for dealer operational queries, triaging and directing issues to the appropriate internal team
Log all audit findings accurately into INFINIT’s monitoring system, maintaining loan-level data integrity
Escalate anomalies, adverse trends, or deteriorating dealer situations with full supporting documentation
Maintain a territory visit log and ensure audit frequency targets are met per INFINIT’s operational standards
Support the servicing and collections team with on-site intelligence when a dealer account enters workout or formal recovery
Requirements
2–3 years of experience in field based work such as sales, collections, auditing or something similar. (automotive experience ideal but not essential)
Ability to conduct physical inventory counts, collateral verifications and field-based credit work.
Valid driving licence is a must
Comfortable operating with significant autonomy and a demanding nationwide travel schedule
Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills: able to build rapport quickly with customers while maintaining professional independence
Absolute discretion and integrity in handling commercially sensitive information
Proficient with mobile/digital reporting software tools
