Provide centralized training, coaching, and materials to AmeriCorps members, coaches, and in-state leaders to ensure fidelity to the Recovery Corps model.
Develop and update training content, program materials, and coaching standards in alignment with program updates and organizational strategy.
Equip state leaders with tools, resources, and technical expertise to support effective program implementation and communicate the value of Recovery Corps to partners and stakeholders.
Serve as a liaison for research studies and program innovations, ensuring smooth communication and integration of findings into practice.
Collect and analyze implementation data, feedback, and observation results to identify gaps, inform program improvements, and assess feasibility of new strategies.
Monitor external policy, legislation, and recovery trends to strategically position Recovery Corps within the national recovery landscape.
Collaborate with leadership to establish national implementation targets and monitor trends across states.
Support teams at all levels in using data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Contribute subject matter expertise to support revenue strategies, workforce development initiatives, and career pathway opportunities for members.
Represent Recovery Corps as a content expert at meetings, conferences, and events.
Requirements
Master’s Degree in behavioral health, peer support, recovery services, related fields, or equivalent experience preferred
Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS), Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), or Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ADC MN/ADCR-MN), or other state recognized credential in addiction counseling or peer recovery services required
5 years of experience working directly with individuals in recovery settings or in peer-recovery roles
Lived experience of recovery from substance-use disorder preferred
Strong background in recovery work, including peer-support, an understanding of the addiction care continuum, and the variety of sites and settings within the continuum
Experience collecting and analyzing participant outcome data, using data and research to improve participant outcomes
Experience facilitating adult learners through training, coaching, supervision, and observation
Experience creating and delivering training and evaluating its effectiveness
Demonstrated leadership skills, characterized by proactive communication, the ability to build investment, delegate tasks, and positively influence others
Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills, including ability to structure tasks, establish priorities, and meet deadlines independently
Strong analytical skills and commitment to data-based decision-making: in-depth experience managing complex sets of data and developing effective metrics to predict and identify trends, patterns, efficiencies, and effectiveness of Ampact programs
