Role Overview
Develop a strong understanding of Nuffield Health’s business strategy, digital and fitness domains, and user needs across members, customers, colleagues, and partners
Contribute to shaping and aligning the Technology and Digital Strategy with business priorities and long term organisational goals
Define commercially viable, technology agnostic, end to end enterprise solutions that deliver clear business value (TCO and ROI)
Lead high level solution design for digital and fitness initiatives, including impact assessments, options analysis, cost estimation, and pragmatic trade offs
Support business stakeholders in discovery activities and the development of robust digital and product business cases
Provide architectural guidance to business leaders, product owners, and delivery teams across customer facing platforms before and during delivery
Engage with key technology and digital suppliers to understand strategies, capabilities, and product roadmaps
Oversee delivery to ensure solutions are strategically aligned, scalable, secure, and adaptable
Act as a coach and trusted advisor to stakeholders, product teams, and delivery squads
Support architecture governance and ensure adherence to agreed principles, standards, and strategic direction
Requirements
3–5 years of deep technical domain experience across digital, consumer, or fitness related technologies (e.g. mobile apps, web platforms, digital commerce, data driven products)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate complex architectural concepts clearly and concisely
Demonstrable experience in architecture analysis and design, including defining digital architecture strategies and roadmaps
A proven track record designing customer facing, digital, and platform architectures aligned to measurable business outcomes
Experience working with third party solution and platform providers
Experience delivering digital products or platforms within the health, wellbeing, fitness, or consumer services sectors
Experience with commercial digital platforms such as CRM, CMS, mobile applications or digital identity
Strong knowledge of agile delivery frameworks, product led delivery, and full lifecycle implementation
