About this role
Role Overview
- Independently manage projects in the field of geotechnical engineering both domestically and internationally
- Plan, coordinate and carry out geotechnical site investigations
- Perform geotechnical sampling and conduct field and laboratory tests
- Conduct geological/geotechnical assessment and classification of soils and rocks
- Prepare reports and review results
- Execute projects while respecting quality, cost, schedule and safety requirements in coordination with the Team Leader and Project Managers
- Collaborate with project-related subcontractors
Requirements
- University degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or a comparable field
- Relevant professional experience
- Confident and technically competent appearance with strong communication skills
- Ability to handle conflicts and strong negotiation skills
- Willingness to work in intercultural and international teams; team player
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office and ArcGIS
- Fluent German (C2) and very good English (at least B2)
- Valid driving license (car)
