About this role
Role Overview
Build and deepen relationships across Bundeswehr, BMVg, BAAINBw, and related agencies.
Navigate and manage German defence procurement processes.
Convert early engagements into procurement-ready opportunities.
Lead and support tenders, frameworks, and contract negotiations.
Identify and execute entry strategies into procurement pathways.
Develop partnerships with prime contractors to enable indirect access.
Position LiveEO capabilities in terms of operational and mission value.
Drive revenue growth through secured contracts and program inclusion.
Requirements
5–10+ years of experience: working with Bundeswehr, BMVg, BAAINBw, or similar institutions in a fast-paced tech scale-up, startup, or relevant commercial environment.
Military or relevant national security background strongly preferred.
Must be eligible to obtain security clearance in Germany.
Proven experience with German government tenders / procurement processes.
Track record of contributing to or winning large government contracts.
Strong network within and sound understanding of organizational structures of German defence and security ecosystem.
Fluent German and English.
Willingness to travel ~30–40% (mostly within Germany).
Deep understanding of German defence procurement structures and processes.
Ability to translate access and relationships into commercial outcomes (€).
Strong execution mindset in complex, long-cycle environments.
Ability to operate across military, administrative, and industry stakeholders.
Commercial ownership combined with institutional credibility.
Experience working with Earth Observation/ satellite data, intelligence and risk management solutions is a plus.
Experience scaling pilots → programs is a plus.
Successful track record of working with Bundeswehr innovation units (e.g. CIHBw) is a plus.
An additional European language is a plus.
