Responsible for building, qualifying and maintaining a robust network of subcontractors, EPCs and specialized service providers for the execution of BESS projects
Conducting project-specific tenders for services and trades within the BESS environment
Supporting price, contract and commercial negotiations with subcontractors and service providers
Contributing to the drafting and maintenance of framework agreements, price lists and procurement standards
Assessing suppliers’ delivery capability, quality, responsiveness and fit for projects
Close coordination with Operations, Engineering and Project Management on scope of work, interfaces and procurement priorities
Defining, controlling and reporting relevant procurement KPIs
Maintaining contract and procurement documentation in the ERP system
Prospectively supporting the setup of component procurement for key BESS trades and major components
Requirements
Several years of professional experience in procurement, sourcing or partner management in a project-driven environment, ideally in electrical engineering, construction, energy, building services (TGA), industry or EPC
Experience in acquiring, qualifying and managing subcontractors, service providers or project partners
Good understanding of project-related tendering, scope definition and contractual fundamentals
Confident in price and commercial negotiations and in evaluating service provider proposals
Structured, pragmatic and data-driven working style
Clear, professional communication and ability to work independently
Experience in accurate maintenance of procurement and contract data
Basic technical understanding in electrical or infrastructure project environments is an advantage
Initial exposure to BESS, energy projects or EPC structures is an advantage
German at least C1, English at least B2
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to a reasonable extent
