Advise, accurately and in a timely manner, MODEC do Brasil departments (especially HR and HSSE) on legal rights and obligations, responding promptly to inquiries and proactively providing problem‑solving–focused assistance.
Protect MODEC do Brasil's interests by reviewing relevant internal and external labor-related documentation to ensure compliance with laws and regulations and to effectively prevent and detect potential violations.
Support the team in matters related to work performed by external counsel and consolidate up-to-date information on legal proceedings and administrative procedures, interacting with external counsel.
Support legal representation needs and MODEC do Brasil's defense in legal proceedings, sharing any necessary information with external attorneys.
Perform work with integrity and responsibility.
Requirements
Registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
Previous experience in labor law, in a law firm or in-house, with familiarity with labor litigation practice; experience interfacing with external counsel and supporting administrative labor procedures, including those initiated by the Ministério Público do Trabalho (Labour Public Prosecutor's Office) and Regional Labor Offices.
Knowledge of Labor Law and Labor Procedure, PJe (Processo Judicial Eletrônico / Electronic Judicial Process) and litigation workflows.
Advanced English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
