- Review and process denied insurance claims
- Research payer requirements and analyze internal systems
- Contact physicians, insurance companies, and patients for required information
- Maintain accurate documentation while responding to inquiries
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Train and support employees on billing processes
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 years of healthcare billing experience
- Associate Degree with 2 years of healthcare billing experience preferred
- Working knowledge of LabCorp’s billing systems preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with numbers and research-related tasks
- Experience working with computerized databases and billing systems
