Define and execute the Global Development technology strategy, product roadmaps, and architecture aligned to clinical pipeline priorities and portfolio needs
Lead technology enablement across the clinical development lifecycle
Embed patient-centric, site-centric, and investigator-centric design across clinical platforms
Provide strategic and operational leadership for core clinical development platforms
Drive integration across clinical, safety, regulatory, and data platforms
Champion modern product management practices
Establish a unified clinical data and analytics ecosystem enabling real-time trial insights
Leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve protocol feasibility, enrollment forecasting, site performance, and risk-based trial oversight
Partner closely with Clinical Operations, Study Management, and Medical Monitoring leaders
Modernize study start-up, site activation, enrollment, and monitoring workflows
Act as a trusted technology partner to Global Development leadership
Represent technology in senior governance forums
Requirements
Master’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or a related field
15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience in biotech R&D, with a strong preference for Clinical Development and Clinical Operations environments
Proven experience leading large, global, matrixed organizations within complex enterprise settings
Demonstrated expertise in applying advanced technologies to accelerate clinical development outcomes
Strong ability to define, shape, and deliver complex initiatives end-to-end, working collaboratively across business, technology, and external partners
Exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Agile and product-centric delivery models strongly preferred
Willingness to travel approximately 25% internationally and domestically to support global development partnerships
