Role Overview
The selected candidate will play a key role in developing and managing client accounts, building long-term relationships and identifying business opportunities, particularly within technology, engineering and digital transformation projects.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of clients (5 to 8 strategic accounts)
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers (IT, projects, innovation)
- Identify and qualify business opportunities before requests for proposals are published
- Understand clients’ challenges, needs and priorities
- Plan and carry out regular activities (meetings, calls, follow-ups)
- Position TEHORA’s services strategically
- Collaborate with bid teams to prepare responses to RFPs
- Participate in client presentations and negotiate opportunities
- Ensure rigorous follow-up of commercial activities (CRM)
- Contribute to growing the opportunity pipeline
- Represent TEHORA at events and networking activities
Requirements
- University degree in business administration, marketing, engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in business development or account management
- Experience in a professional services firm (IT, engineering or consulting)
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Strong ability to build and maintain business relationships
- Proactive, autonomous and results-oriented
- Good understanding of technology environments
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Fluency in French (spoken and written); English is an asset
Preferred knowledge / assets:
- Experience with public-sector clients (municipal, government)
- Knowledge of procurement and bidding processes (SEAO, MERX, etc.)
- Network of contacts in IT, engineering or infrastructure sectors
- Experience selling professional services
- Familiarity with data environments, IoT or digital transformation
- Proficiency with a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce or equivalent)
