Managing Director, Alternative Operations Fund Accounting

Role Overview

• Development and execution of overall business plans internally and with clients
• Manage relationships with key client contacts to ensure confidence in State Street
• Responsible for all deliverables for assigned client base
• Coordinate production calendars with clients and internal support areas
• Ensure process quality standards are met and routinely reviewed
• Address employee concerns and develop department budget and staffing projections
• Represent the organization internally and externally as a senior manager

Requirements

• College degree (accounting degree strongly preferred; business, mathematics, finance or economics degree required)
• 10 or more years of previous accounting and/or financial service operations experience
• Solid business unit management experience on complex clients requiring a high level of client interaction
• MBA and/or CPA are a plus
• Knowledge of Private Market Fund structures and accounting technology like Geneva, Investran
• Familiarity with accounting operations for business development companies and semi-liquid funds
