Monitor loan activity to ensure proper assignment to the appropriate bond series
Establish and maintain accounting codes when new bonds are issued
Update the Electronic Municipal Market Access (EMMA) system with required information
Provide stockpiled and pipeline loan data
Prepare arbitrage reports as needed
Update financial statement note disclosures at year-end with relevant bond information
Compile and report data
Requirements
Possession of a Certified Public Accountant or Certified Government Financial Manager certificate AND three years of accounting experience equivalent to Accountant 2 work
OR A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or in any discipline that includes or is supplemented by 32 quarter (21 semester) credit hours from an accredited institution in Accounting AND three years of related accounting experience equivalent to Accountant 2 work
OR 32 quarter (21 semester) credit hours from an accredited institution in Accounting AND five years of related accounting experience
Strong collaborator across teams and external partners, including Treasury and financial partners
Skilled in financial research and policy interpretation to ensure compliance and accuracy
Detail-oriented in managing complex financial data and reporting requirements
Highly organized with strong time management and ability to meet multiple deadlines independently
