About this role
Role Overview
You acquire new industrial and commercial customers for our solutions in the field of industrial water, wastewater treatment and disposal, and manage the existing customer base; advising on water-management and waste-technical matters.
You analyze customer processes (e.g., process water, wastewater streams), evaluate material streams and develop appropriate solutions — from treatment and recycling to disposal.
You prepare cost calculations and quotations, and present technical solutions with clear economic justification; market and competitor analyses are also part of your responsibilities.
You negotiate contracts independently, conduct price and contract negotiations and conclude agreements with new and existing customers.
You support projects and major contracts, coordinate internal interfaces (engineering, operations, logistics) and ensure smooth implementation.
You maintain customer data and documentation and ensure that all waste
and water-related legal requirements as well as quality guidelines are complied with.
You monitor the market, identify trends in industrial water and the circular economy and represent the company at trade fairs.
Requirements
Successfully completed degree or vocational training in waste/water management, process engineering, environmental engineering, chemistry or a comparable commercial or technical qualification.
Experience in the sales of disposal, environmental or water-technical services and in project support; ideally also experience in water and wastewater technology or industrial process water treatment.
Solid understanding of waste management, circular economy and basic water-management processes; ability to assess material streams and process relationships.
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Independent, structured working style, team player and confident user of MS Office applications.
Experience with determination of dry solids content (DSC) and the use of related analytical methods is a plus.
Very good German language skills and conversational English.
Driving licence class B and willingness to travel.
