Support senior account executives by assisting in customer engagements, focusing on identifying customer needs and supporting Red Hat's business value proposition.
Identify and pursue opportunities for account expansion through renewals, up-sell, and cross-sell.
Collaborate with Red Hat ecosystem partners to drive pipeline within a sales territory.
Manage data entry and customer information in the CRM system, ensuring accurate record-keeping of sales activities, including follow-up tasks and customer information including, but not limited to quoting and sales process entries (e.g. MEDDPICC).
Collaborate with various internal teams to provide necessary information for deal processing.
Participate in sales forecasting and pipeline management under the guidance of senior team members.
Understand basic aspects of Red Hat’s product and services portfolio, assisting with cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
Assist in executing account strategies, including tracking and following up on sales activities to meet assigned sales targets.
Align Red Hat products to customer use cases based on business value.
Work with a cross-functional team comprised of Tech and Partner Sales to achieve sales targets across multiple routes to market and product sets.
Prospecting at a foundational level including but not limited to cold calls, emails, social media, and corporate sales plays & campaigns.
Participate in cross-functional collaboration with partner teams to expand customer engagement opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
1-3 years of experience working in a technical presale, support, or consulting role
Strong sale experience selling into technological markets with Open Source technologies and product offerings
Ability to travel up to 50%
