Close collaboration with operational units as a business partner to steer the business
Preparation and analysis of target vs. actual comparisons, including deriving concrete recommendations to improve results
Conducting economic feasibility analyses and profitability assessments at the customer, project, and product levels
Calculating projects, proposals, and business cases in close coordination with operational stakeholders
Monitoring operational performance and further developing relevant KPIs and steering metrics
Supporting and coordinating planning and forecasting processes
Analyzing cost structures and identifying and implementing efficiency and optimization opportunities
Preparing decision-relevant analyses and presentations for management
Further developing and harmonizing controlling tools, reports, and processes across the group to support business steering
Ensuring high data quality as the basis for well-founded decision-making

Completed degree in business administration, finance, or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in business controlling, ideally in an operational or project-oriented environment, preferably within a service company
Strong understanding of business and financial relationships, with an affinity for close collaboration with operational teams
Experience in project costing as well as building and evaluating business cases
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to present complex topics clearly and understandably
High level of initiative, results orientation, and assertiveness
Structured and independent working style, with strong communication and coordination skills
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; experience with common reporting or BI tools (e.g., MS Fabric, Power BI) and knowledge of SAP are an advantage
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Team spirit and motivation to take on responsibility and actively contribute to the company’s development
