Role Overview
Responsibilities and duties:
- Interpret project requirements and business objectives;
- Ask the client questions to gather requirements and business rules, estimate effort, and detail processes;
- Participate in requirements-gathering meetings;
- Guide the solution from a process and business perspective according to requirements;
- Plan, write, and estimate user stories;
- Detail functional and technical user stories that deliver value to the user or client and include clear acceptance criteria for each requirement to ensure correct measurement and scoring;
- Validate user stories;
- Perform functional validations and tests;
- Support QA testing and end users;
- Produce documentation required by the client’s management model;
- Maintain and support the Project Lifecycle according to the client’s management model;
- Follow the roles and responsibilities matrix defined by the client (e.g., RACI);
- Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project delivery;
- Have strong knowledge of the platforms in use and propose solutions that minimize tool customizations;
- Use JIRA for planning, tracking, and optimizing workflows;
- Provide support for Integration Testing and user acceptance (UAT), and be responsible for supporting the management of defects/bugs assigned to systems within your domain, applications, and technology components during integrated testing and UAT phases;
- Create action plans for defects in ongoing projects, proposing architectural synergies;
- Jointly support, together with the client, defects/bugs assigned to systems within your domain, applications, and technology components;
- Maintain good relationships and negotiate with managers and clients;
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams (developers, designers, product owners, and stakeholders).
Requirements
- Essential:
- Completed higher education degree in Data Science, Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, Financial Management, or related fields;
- Experience in projects in the role of functional analyst;
- Experience working on projects using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.);
- Experience with management and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office for control and presentations (Excel, PowerPoint);
- Client-facing skills and the ability to interact with clients;
- Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams;
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with others to achieve common goals (teamwork and communication).
