Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist

Role Overview

• Manage all claims efficiently and effectively to an appropriate resolution with minimal supervision
• Handle all aspects of liability injury claims of low to moderate complexity
• Assist in taking first notice of loss calls (FNOL) and participate in the department phone queue as needed
• Make coverage determinations and conduct investigative work of a complex nature
• Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively and efficiently

Requirements

• 2+ years of Casualty claims experience OR a minimum of 2 years of claims experience including 1+ year of Commercial claims experience
• High School / GED or a minimum of 3 years experience in a Casualty claims role within P&C insurance industry
• Required to acquire and/or maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses (state-specific) within the first 90 days of employment and/or job transfer
• Flexibility to work any shift during the operating hours of 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. in your time zone, which may include evenings and/or weekends
• Outstanding interpersonal and strong computer navigation abilities
