Role Overview
- Translate business needs into clear requirements and reporting solutions
- Perform sophisticated data analytics in various environments
- Produce data visualizations to communicate insights
- Write, document, and deploy custom code for predictive applications
- Research and adopt emerging data science methods and technologies
- Ensure data governance and analytics capabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and four or more years of experience in a quantitative field
- Understanding of statistical methods
- Familiarity with linear algebra concepts
- Understanding of data cleansing and preparation methodologies
- Strong familiarity with data extraction in various environments
- Working knowledge of Hadoop, Pig, Hive, and/or NoSQL, Spark
- Experience managing multiple projects
