Support the design and implementation of economics-driven analytical systems at the intersection of quantitative research, data engineering, and applied AI.
Manage and maintain MEL data systems, including Salesforce, ensuring accurate, timely, and secure data entry and storage.
Analyze project and portfolio performance monitoring and evaluation data to identify trends, performance issues, and emerging insights across sectors and countries.
Develop and maintain dashboards, data visualizations, and analytical products for technical and non-technical audiences.
Ensure data quality through validation, verification, and standardization processes across multiple data sources.
Support data calls and aggregation of data for reporting and analysis.
Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment between data collection, reporting, and analysis.
Contribute to preparation of reports, briefs, and responses to U.S. Government stakeholders, including OIG, GAO, and Congressional inquiries.
Support development and refinement of indicators, data collection tools, and MEL frameworks.
Provide training and technical support to staff and partners on data management systems, dashboards, and data use.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in data management, data analytics, economics, statistics, MEL, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience working with large datasets and data management systems, preferably Salesforce or similar platforms.
Proven programming skills in Python and SQL as well as working in cloud-based environments such as Databricks, Azure, and related data platforms.
Experience with portfolio-level or cross-project analytics.
Strong skills in data analysis and visualization (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or similar tools).
Experience supporting dashboard development and data-driven decision-making processes.
Experience implementing data quality assurance and validation processes.
Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation concepts, including indicators, data collection methodologies, and performance tracking.
Experience supporting U.S. Government–funded programs or similar international development programs; familiarity with Department of State systems or reporting requirements preferred.
Systems-oriented, able to think beyond one-off analysis toward scalable and maintainable technical solutions, and quick to learn new tools, frameworks, and workflows as project needs evolve.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present data to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
