Prepare regulatory reports for the Bank of Portugal, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Manage accounting for invoices and payments to suppliers.
Support the development and optimization of tax models for Portugal, and prepare financial reports.
Assist in controlling the branch’s P&L, analyze variances against budget, and identify areas for improvement.
Support the coordination of account audits and other types of audits.
Requirements
Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
Proficient in Excel (no programming skills required).
Knowledge of corporate accounting and taxation, ideally with previous auditing experience (not essential) and experience in the Financial Services industry.
Eager to learn and motivated to take on a new challenge in a key role.
Strong communication skills and a high level of English.
Comfortable working as a team member.
