Sales Execution: Support and implement ILAC’s sales strategies for Japan to drive student enrollment and increase brand presence in the region.
Agent & Partner Engagement: Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with education agents, school counselors, and other key partners.
Student Recruitment: Represent ILAC at student fairs, school visits, and online events to promote programs and support student inquiries.
Business Market Development: Identify new opportunities and assist in developing new partnerships that align with ILAC’s recruitment goals.
Client Support: Provide timely and accurate information to agents, students, and parents regarding ILAC’s programs, admissions process, and visa requirements.
Collaboration: Work with the Head of Sales and broader international team to align efforts, share insights, and support overall sales targets.
Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to provide feedback and suggest local tactics.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and provide regular updates on progress toward recruitment goals.
Requirements
Experience: Business Development, Sales, marketing, or international student recruitment, preferably in the education or language learning sector.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field is preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with international education trends, agent networks, and the Canadian education system is a strong asset.
Cultural Understanding: Strong understanding of the cultural dynamics, business practices, and educational systems in Asia, particularly in Japan.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
Language Skills: Proficiency in Japanese and English; proficiency in other languages is highly desirable.
Travel: Willingness to travel frequently for business development, client meetings, and industry events.
