Oversee collection activities, assess the effectiveness of actions taken, monitor quality, track productivity, and follow operational metrics;
Ensure objectives are met by actively participating in day-to-day collections operations and promoting continuous improvement in strategies, products, and people;
Ensure credit loss remains controlled and within limits agreed with stakeholders, delivering results aligned with the recovery budget;
Supervise, develop, motivate, coach, and train team members to ensure process improvements and operational efficiency;
Manage relationships with collection agencies, credit bureaus, system vendors, etc., aiming for favorable negotiations for the bank;
Ensure the bank employs the most effective collection models through regular validations to maximize effectiveness;
Generate and monitor portfolio performance through accurate management reports to identify necessary corrections or strategic adjustments;
Define collection products that provide a positive customer experience while maximizing credit recoveries.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Finance);
Proven experience and a strong track record in collections/credit recovery;
Strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency with the Office suite, strategic business vision, strong interpersonal skills, and a business-oriented mindset.
