Role Overview
- Work directly on GEO (Generative Experience Optimization), monitoring and optimizing how the brand appears, is mentioned, and is interpreted in AI-generated experiences and responses.
- Monitor KPIs and maintain GEO performance dashboards, consolidating trends, variations and relevant signals of presence and perception.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking analyses to understand share of voice, mentions, associated topics and sentiment, identifying market movements and opportunities.
- Identify gaps in presence and narrative, indicating which topics, categories or contexts certain competitors stand out in and why.
- Assess the quality and consistency of AI-generated responses about the brand, reviewing response patterns and alignment with the intended positioning, and suggesting improvements to approach (without publicly exposing strategy).
- Translate GEO analyses into actionable insights, including key wins, gaps, risks and required decisions.
- Share GEO performance versus previous periods with relevant teams (e.g., PR, SEO, Content, CX, Technology, Digital), connecting findings to practical recommendations.
- Lead alignment routines with cross-functional teams to review progress, pending items and points of attention, ensuring clarity on the current focus for each area.
- Identify dependencies and risks in priorities, support course adjustments and co-create action plans with involved areas.
- Capture learnings from completed initiatives and tests, validating what worked and supporting the scaling of proven approaches to other contexts/categories.
- Update and organize a cross-functional backlog (additions, decisions, action items and conclusions) and help confirm focus areas for the following week.
