Own and drive complex delivery, cost, capacity, and design issues with suppliers
Partner with Business Sourcing Leadership to develop Growth Playbook strategies
Identify opportunities to create competition by expanding global footprint
Act as the Manufacturing Engineering focal for assigned supplier base
Assess Lean and capacity capabilities at assigned suppliers and engage Systems FLIGHT DECK (Lean) teams to drive Cost projects
Provide manufacturing expertise across multiple related part families and processes
Proactively identify delivery barriers and resolve with Fulfilment, Commercial, and Quality teams
Manage projects for suppliers and collaborate with internal and external teams to implement solutions
Drive cost reduction efforts within assigned supply base
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED with at least 12 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, and/or Supply Chain
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, and/or Supply Chain
Minimum of 5 years of experience working directly with Suppliers
15+ years of experience in Electronics Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, and/or Supply Chain (desired)
10+ years of experience in Sourcing, Shop Operations, and Production Control (desired)
10+ years of experience in Aerospace and/or Automotive (desired)
Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (desired)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
