Support the monthly and quarterly close, ensuring timely and accuracy, including FRP preparation
Identification and booking of adjusting entries identified during and post-close
Support the account reconciliation process implementation and drive preparation, review and open-item resolution
Develop and execute any necessary remediation plans for unreconciled account reconciliations and monitor and collaborate with other functions to assure completeness
Drive quality account reconciliation reviews to ensure application of accounting standards across all legal entities in scope, consistency and accuracy
Ensure ongoing compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and internal accounting policies & ensure consistent application of accounting standards across all legal entities
Review transactional tax calculations and filings, including management of external service providers
Monitor USGAAP and statutory KPIs to assure the execution and completion of the plan
Prepare timely and accurate statutory-to-GAAP reconciliations & drive implementation of a standard process across legal entities under scope
Assure maintenance of statutory ledgers
Prepare all statutory financial statements, filings, and disclosures in compliance with local regulations
Support the resolution of statutory accounting matters, including identification, analysis, documentation, and conclusion of technical accounting issues
Responsible for the submission of financial statements and their quality in compliance with internal and governmental regulations
Execute geography-specific reporting requirements (i.e., US escheatment, statistical reporting)
Support on SOX readiness and implementation through process documentation and the design, testing, and implementation of internal controls
Drive and lead simplification processes understanding wing to wing process, identifying opportunities for process improvement and standardization, partnering with Global Process Leaders
Support transformation, simplification, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Grid Solutions business
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
Minimum 6 years of experience in Controllership / Accounting
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and Group Accounting policies
Strong oral and written communication skills for driving discussions with internal and external stakeholders
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Analytical mindset and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
Fluent in English
