HSDiT program is an advancement opportunity for Oakmont team members
Trained by department heads at the community level
Gain a comprehensive understanding of managing a team as a Health Services Director
Complete department training and gain on-the-job experience under a current Health Services Director
Participation in courses for professional development
Completion of program may lead to various management positions including Health Services Director or Memory Care Director

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Minimum of six months in current position (for Oakmont candidates)
Prefer two (2) years experience as a Licensed Nurse
One (1) year experience in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
California LVN or RN License in good standing
Willing to travel throughout the state during training
Open to relocation for a permanent position
Demonstrated interest in clinical leadership
Prior experience coaching or mentoring peers preferred
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Passion for serving older adults
Able to work with seniors and interact with cognitively impaired individuals
Proficient in basic computer systems and ability to learn electronic health records
Able to read, write, and speak English
Able to adapt and respond to change, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
Must be coachable, highly motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
Able to obtain and maintain valid First Aid and CPR as needed
Must pass a Criminal Background Check and Health Screening tests.
