Develop advanced machine learning–based architectures for automated driving functions and design the scaling of our ML development
Conduct independent research beyond the state of the art, identify technology gaps, and actively help close them through technical concepts and prototype implementations, leveraging multilateral industry and academic partnerships
Meet with dynamic startups, engage in stimulating discussions with leading university researchers, or design research plans for the relevant product and feature roadmap
Requirements
University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Mathematics, Physics, or comparable qualifications
At least five years of professional experience developing, deploying, and maintaining AI/ML models in a commercial or industrial environment
Proven success in transitioning models from research or prototype phases into productive, value-generating operations
Experience working in agile, interdisciplinary teams with a strong sense of ownership and delivery focus
Strong expertise in one or more of the following areas: prediction and perception, planning, end-to-end learning, vision-language-action models, driving world models, reinforcement learning, fine-tuning of vision-language models, and machine learning safety concepts
Hands-on experience with Python-based ML stacks and production environments (training, inference, monitoring)
Comprehensive understanding of automated driving functions and their typical software stack
Excellent English skills, both written and spoken. Knowledge of German, written and spoken, is an advantage.
