Handle high volumes of emails and correspondence on behalf of attorneys, ensuring timely and professional responses
Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, letters, and forms as directed by attorneys
Maintain and organize digital client files and case records within the firm's case management system
Assist with client follow-ups, reminders, and general communication throughout the case lifecycle
Support billing and timekeeping processes by tracking attorney hours and preparing invoices
Conduct basic legal research and compile information as assigned by supervising attorneys
Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and vendors to obtain documents and confirmations
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a legal virtual assistant, legal secretary, or legal administrative assistant
Solid understanding of legal terminology, court processes, and general law firm operations
Excellent written and spoken English with a polished, professional communication style
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive client and case information
Must have prior remote work experience, be fluent with remote collaboration tools and platforms (such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar), and have ideally worked with US or UK-based law firms.
