Perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks in support of the Syndic's Office, the Committee on Unauthorized Practice, and the Admissions and Corporate Practice Committee;
Perform case law research on various files as needed, excluding files originating from the Syndic's Office;
Support the Legal Affairs Directorate in preparing public position statements;
Support the Legal Affairs Directorate in member follow-up files;
Contribute to maintaining the legal monitoring program to ensure ongoing legislative and regulatory watch;
Collaborate with legal counsel on legal research, drafting contracts and memos, and amendments to the Order's regulatory framework;
Participate in processing access-to-information requests;
Coordinate the activities of the Admissions Committee;
Process admission applications;
Coordinate and process requests for authorization to practice within a corporation;
Prepare certificates of registration on the Order's Register for the Discipline Council;
Support the Secretary of the Professional Inspection Committee (meeting notices, drafting minutes);
Format and lay out various documents related to regulation.
Requirements
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a similar position;
College diploma in accounting or a related field;
Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and a good command of English;
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
Ability to work as part of a team;
