About this role
Role Overview
Maintain and increase Shaw’s profitability and market share in a geographical area
Develop good relationships with customers based on knowledge, service, trust, and integrity
Daily sales calls on existing customers emphasizing hard surface flooring products, samples, displays, adhesive, and related floor products
Present products to retail dealers, designers, and end-users
Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more on a regular basis
Continually prospect for viable new accounts
Prepare and communicate periodic sales reports outlining actual sales information and goals
Analyze sales statistics to aid in formulating goals and assist dealers in promoting sales
Enter all customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com
Requirements
A High School Diploma/GED required
Previous sales experience required
Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectable manner
Ability to use a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office
Physically able to assemble and take down display fixtures
Territory Managers must travel in a vehicle that can carry product sample boards
