Role Overview
Lead the new federal entity and drive market share growth in the U.S. federal government sector
Build and manage a high-performing federal sales team
Develop and expand relationships with government agencies
Navigate federal procurement processes and ensure compliance
Analyze performance of sales team and ensure accountability against revenue goals
Establish goals for team members aligned with federal cycles
Maintain knowledge of all federal sales activities and opportunities
Manage relationships with federal customers through engagement and collaboration
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 15 years of progressive sales experience
At least 7–10 years in federal government sales
Proven track record of winning large federal contracts
Strong experience with C-level and senior executives in federal agencies
Deep knowledge of server and storage management solutions
Familiarity with federal compliance and procurement processes
Demonstrated leadership ability in building and managing high-performing teams
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytic skills in market and industry research
