Leads, develops, and performance-manages a team of accountants/analysts while fostering an ownership mindset to produce timely and accurate financial reports.
Owns end-to-end accounting processes (AP, AR, general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting) across global entities, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal controls.
Primary liaison between the organization and external auditors, preparing necessary documentation and managing the audit process.
Drives process improvements, automations, and cross-functional initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Provides strategic insights, mentors team members, and influences stakeholders on accounting matters in a remote/global setting.
Oversees multi-entity consolidations, tax compliance support, and ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred)
5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a people-management or team-lead role.
Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel, and financial reporting tools; experience in multi-entity/global operations required.
Strong leadership, communication, and project-management skills for remote, cross-cultural, global environments.
