About this role
Role Overview
Assist attorneys with their cases
Participate in office-wide projects and client services
Handle some cases on their own as a DOJ-accredited representative
Resubmit DOJ-accreditation applications if previously accredited or pending
Requirements
An associate’s degree or commensurate professional experience
A high level of Spanish proficiency
Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem‐solving skills
A demonstrated commitment to protecting the rights of immigrants or other persons in poverty
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Proficient with major software and web services including Word, Excel, G Suite
Experience related to immigration and poverty is preferred
Prior experience with immigration law preferred
Relevant lived experience is encouraged
