Document Service & Filing Coordination: Manage service of documents and filing workflows, ensuring proper execution and compliance with all filing requirements.
Attorney Coordination: Ensure attorneys provide timely notes and meet all deadlines, with consistent follow-up after court appearances to maintain case progress.
Requirements
Civil Litigation Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a civil litigation paralegal, with a strong focus on discovery and document preparation.
California Court Knowledge: Preferred experience with California state courts; federal court experience is a plus.
Technological Proficiency: Comfortable with AI tools and legal software such as Clio; a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
Attention to Detail: Capable of handling complex details with precision, ensuring no deadlines are missed.
Teamwork and Independence: Able to collaborate with legal teams while also working independently to manage caseloads efficiently.
